Wood and Prior - Out Again

Cubs Suck News — By webmaster on Sunday, July 9, 2006

Well what’s new with the Cubs? What do you know, Mark Prior and Kerry Wood are both hurt again! Is this madness ever going to end for the Cubs? Wood could be in serious injury trouble. He has a torn rotator cuff that will end his season and possibly his career with the Cubs. There is even question of if Wood will ever pitch again.

Prior is a little less serious, but he’s still out. Mark Prior skipped his last start with some aching in his oblique. I guess he just wants to be like Pujols :)

I feel like we harp and harp on the fact that these two are always injured. But it’s humorous to us. How can a team continue to put up with this. Not only that, but year after year they say these two are who they are centralized around. Give up on them! Send them to the Cardinals where real pitching coaches can have a shot at turning them into all-star pitchers.
