Well, it’s official. The Chicago Cubs are going to the 2007 MLB playoffs. Ouch, that hurt to say. I will say congrats. Despite the weak NL Central, the Cubs managed to get by and advance to the first round. The Cubs beat the Reds in convincing fashion tonight while the Brewers got beat by the Padres. Speaking of the Brewers, they basically folded down the stretch.

So before Cub fans get all giddy lets talk about what is going to happen as the Cubs enter the playoffs? Well, in 2003 we all know they won their first series but then got knocked out in the NLCS. I see the Cubs losing in 5 during this years first series. They just don’t have the consistency to make a run into the playoffs. And of course – they still suck. For those of you that are trying to get tickets to the Cubs playoff games – good luck! We hear they are going for a pretty penny.

SWEEP!  Could lose their last 6 games and still get into the playoffs.  SAD, how sad… Can we say worst team to ever make the postseason?  Win a game would ya?!?!?

The Cubs sucked and lost again to the Florida Marlins.  They are trying everything in their power to CHOKE.  If it weren’t for bonehead Ned Yost deciding retaliating was more important than winning, this race might be just 1 game.  But instead, the Brewers are still 2 games out.  But seriously Cubs – win a game to show you at least want to take the penant.  Disgusting!

The Cubs Lose! Brewers Win! Magic number stays at 4 for another day as the Brewers move back to just 2 games out with like 5 to play.  Unthinkable?  Never know with the Cubs on the other end of it.  Prince Fielder mashed the ball twice to give the Brewers a 9-1 victory over the Cardinals.  Dontrelle brought his A-Game as the Marlins beat up on the Cubs.  I’m smellin a choke!

So is there really any way the Cubs can blow this? Up 3 with 6 to play? No way! Well, thought I’d share a little tribute from some other Brewer fan, Cub Hater. Notice all the pictures from this site!
