Thought this was interesting.  The Build Little Cubs Field non-profit corporation is creating a “Little Cubs Field” out in Freeport, IL.  This will be a miniature version of the “dump” Wrigley Field.  It’s said to have 27 key features that are the same as Wrigley.  This facility is mainly for whiffle ball, little league, kick ball, parties and a general tourist attraction.  You Wrigley Field lovers can check it out here.

I hope they build some seats that are immediately behind a poll!  Or maybe put horse-tank style urinals in?

What the hell is this?  A Wrigley Field garage sale?  Are you kidding me?  Your team might be in a pennant chase and all you can think about is a Wrigley Field garage sale!  Nice!  Typical Cub mentality.

So what’s gonna be sold on this?  A piece of the fallen stadium (errrr dump), a worn Ryan Dempster jersey (i’m sure thats valuable), Lou’s old cd’s, and so on… I’d love to hear from all of you - what should be on this ‘garage sale’?

Newsflash: Cubs postseason playoff tickets go on sale Sunday morning. Thousands of hopeful (foolish) Cub fans will be waiting in the virtual waiting room. And for what? We all know the ending that is about to come. Brewers win at the buzzer!!!
