Well, we called it.  A Sox sweep of the Cubs… How sad.  It’s absolutely unraveling for the Chubbies here.  All the trash talk they had for the past two weeks is now GONE!  Sox have bragging rights for now.  Cubs played some pathetic baseball this past weekend.  Errormis decided he would single handedly lose the game on Saturday, that was fun.  I’ll leave you with a few tunes we’ve gotten from some Chubby haters…

The guy stands on a mound of dirt to do his job, whether it’s on artificial turf or not, and the official excuse for a back pain that sidelined him has been because of ‘playing on artificial turf for 6 days’. Why I don’t hear of players from those fields with artificial turf being sent to the DL for that is beyond me. So what’s the real reason he needed to be on the DL? Sounds to me like since the Scrubbies have been in 1st place for a while, and since that hasn’t happened in, well……..forever lol, suddenly they think the right way to go about it is by their giving in to the whining of star players who want to take a break because they aren’t used to playing so hard. Usually they have to play just hard enough to get by ‘cuz 3rd place is only a few games away. Wipe that frown from your face Carlos, you can hang out with your ‘Sweet’ Uncle Lou and get your hair done while talking about girls and cooties……..

There will be no singing at Wrigley today.  Put that dumb song to rest Cub fans because the Orioles finally put you in your place.  Yeah, they had won 14-15-whatever in a row at home… Yeah, they might have the best record baseball… Yeah, they might have swept the Whitesox… Yeah, yeah, yeah…

All those positives and they are still just a few games ahead of the Cardinals and another few ahead of the Wild Card.  With over half a season to go – this could be a dissapointing ending for the North Siders.  Big Zambrano out… OUCH!  Soriano gone – they won’t admit it – but OUCH!  Watch, Aramis or DLee will go cripple here soon.  Probably Aramis as he always spends a week or two vacation on the DL.

Also, how are you going to handle the rigorous 2nd half schedule on the road?  To date they have played 41 home games and just 36 road games.  16-20 on the road?  YIKES!  Just preparing you Cub fans for a long 2nd half of the season.  Don’t say we didn’t tell you so.
