Already?  A bit premature huh.  You are the Cubs.  Everything you do is cursed.  Don’t do this.  Quit dreaming and realize that you are NOT going to the World Series.  I know, I know, you are big favorites and everyone in the world things you are.  Anything short of the World Series is suckiness for this team – but it’s just not gonna happen.  Cubbies are already lookin past the ‘lowly’ Dodgers onto round 2.  Watch out.  Manny can bite ya!

Ouch. Why does Sports Illustrated continue to do this to the Cubs. Over at homerderby.com they have a wonderful piece on the different Cubs SI covers and what has happened directly after that.  It’s scary actually.  So it can’t be good for you Cubs fans to see Aramis on the front page and the quote “Welcome to The Party”.  Haha… It’s gonna be a short party!

1. To say something stupid or act in a foolish way, much like the Chicago Cub’s fanbase.
2. To keep believing even when your favorite sporting team sucks.
