Cubs Suck Club — By webmaster on Monday, July 16, 2007

badcentury.jpgSo it’s like a time of celebration in Cub land.  They are 3.5 games out of first place, won 7 out of 10, putting up plenty of runs… It’s like heaven to the Cub fan.  We can’t go a day without a Cub fan running their mouth about how ‘good’ this team is.  It’s downright disgusting actually.  Get a grip!  You are still in 2nd place!  You are barely ahead of a horrible St. Louis Cardinal team!

Luckily for us Cub haters - we know the ending to this story - and it’s not a happy one for Cub fans.  It feels like one of those years for a historic ‘choke job’ to occur once again.

So Cub fans, do yourselves a favor, and just shut up now before you are saying -

“well… wait til next year!”

I think it is funny that Cubs fans actually think they have a chance….even if they win their division (which most high school teams could win), they will never win the World Series……I can’t wait for the end.

“Milwaukee will crumble”

I’ve heard that coming out of Cubs fans’ mouths constantly. You need to support you’re reasoning for that, and what makes you think the Flubs won’t crumble? Can any Cub fan just enjoy the division race and quit bashing the Brewers?

The Cubs may be playing above .500 but they’re still only 5 games ahead of a Cardinals team that has lost 16 players this year which includes the death of Josh Hancock. Given the circumstances the Cardinals are doing very well and have a shot at the division. The Cardinals could be a good team this year if they could field a healthy roster. I do believe, however, if the Cubs pull out a first place finish in the Central, which I doubt, they will be eliminated from playoff action in the division series.

Oh, and quite honestly, I believe the Brewers will pull out with the Central Division title this year. These next seven games for the Cardinals will be a determining factor.

The Brewers better win the division. I will be furious if the Scrubs catch us. Hopefully the Cards can sweep them and get closer to 2nd place. Go Cards! Go Brewers!

To all those loud mouthed cub fans who want to say the Sox World Series title in ‘05 is history: At least we can remeber experiencing our history; at least our team has won a championship in our lifetome! Too bad for you cub fans you’ll never know what that kind of history is like! Furthermore, whenever your cubs beat us in a World Series, then come talk to me! It may have happened 100 years ago, but with the Sox beating the cubs in the only crosstown World Series, we still have the ultimate bragging rights! So what if the cubs swept the last Sox/cubs series, nothing compares to winning a World Series. Like I said, cub fans willnever know what that’s like!

This site is getting boring because the Sox and Cards suck this year, and we have no one to talk smack about the Cubs. The Brewers are doing better this year so we need more Brewer fans.
