Look Out Scrubbies

100 Years of Suckiness, Cubs Suck Club, Funny, Stories — By Cardinals57one on Thursday, July 10, 2008

Cincinnati is coming up on you, they are only 11 games out and the All-Star Break is coming up. If they can pound you like this 12-7 Thurs. and haunt you with a few big bats, as is already known by your Cubs webpage and any St. Louis fan, you need to pull up them draws and act like you deserve that first place. Hell, the Cards have a patchwork team and have stayed on your #2 with few exceptions, what’s that telling ya for the division including 1st ha. Bear with me, I just got back from a short vacation and a dentist visit today so my face is numb and I’m out of it. Anyway, how is it that Cinci is able to hand CHC a game like this; is it maybe the Scrubs are not as tough as they make everyone believe? I think so, and compared to the American league the National league has absolutely nothing to challenge them, take TBRays for example. How the heck they stay in first place to me is as much a mystery as CHC. And CHC are trying to prove to the new owners that they have income not only from fans who feel sorry for them and buy hats but now they are making an effort to acquire talent and actually win. Scrubs-TBRays WS? Nah, Someone with a goat t-shirt will jinx them, it will be more than 100 years before they get their win. Alright kids I’m done, my head is out of it right now, :P

Oh, I must have had something good. You said Cinnci. Sorry. I saw Cinnci and read Brewers, and I didn’t even go to the dentist today. I still agree with you on the rest of it. I think…

Yeah, the Cardinals are doing so terrible. 4.5 games out after one injury ridden season and during another. We already have had 9 players make their MLB debut with us this year and the 10th is coming soon in Jaime Garcia. How about the Cubbies try bringing up some of their AAA guys and have to play them full-time! And heck, the Cards have 3 aces disabled…i’m sure mulder for good as much as I hate to say it. And they’re still in contention! HA! CUBS oughta be running away from the Cards! And watch out cause the Brewers are right on your tail too!!!!!!

I love how gashouse turns a negative into a positive for St. Louis. If the Brewers are on the Cubs tail, that must mean they are up, way up, the Cards ass!

haha Well, with all due respect you can’t really argue with my point. Cubs are having a good year but you’ve got two competitive teams nipping at your tails!

Man, do I need to point out a 1-0 loss counts the same as a 10-0 loss. What worst, 11-7 loss or a 12-11 loss in 10 inning? (especially after blowing a huge lead lead and getting a big hr in the top of the 10th) Cubs did it today, just like the Redbirds…wait a minute, the Cubs actually came back and won.

Yeah, they sucked it up tonight…but there’s a lot of baseball left to play for everyone. Ya win some and ya lose some ya know!
