Cubs are Looney for Loney Puffs
100 years of suckiness is resuming for the mighty Cubs. They fell down 0-1 in the series by getting beat 7-2 at HOME to the Dodgers. James Loney crushed their hopes with a grand slam to give the Dodgers a 6-2 lead early on. The Cubs bats were dead. The pitching threw some horrid pitches. Everyone just looked Cubbish (etc. dead)… Which leads me to the question – why in the world did the Chubs pitch Dumpster in game 1? I don’t care what his record is… You go Zamdumbo and Harden in Game 1 and Game 2. Idiotic. Only the Cubs would find a way to blow such a ‘great’ year. I have to say I’m a bit dissappointed though. I wanted something dramatic but we just got pure Dodger domination. Maybe game 2 and game 3 will give us some excellent cursed moments to enjoy. By the way – LIVE BLOGGING right here at Cubs Suck Club during tomorrow nights game! TUNE IN and bash away!

I’ve been checking out the Scubs MLB board. Funny stuff. They’re already suicidal over there. The love for Dumpster has turned to hatred in a blink. The Losers are imploding, no offense, Fucku is worthless, DeRosa should kick ass, yada, yada, yada, not to mention the boos at the Dump.
The best fans in baseball?

who said they’re the best fans in baseball? that’s a pure self-proclamation. here’s an intelligent and knowledgeable comment from a crying cub fan received post game 1.
“AT LEAST IT’S OCTOBER AND OUR SEASON ISN’T OVER”
laugh.

I just want to thank the cubs suck club staff for sending me the e-mail because I still can not stop laughing at that James Loney picture.

anyone notice that okifaggot stopped posting here since the Sox got on a roll? guess with the South side winning and the chubs losing he is too busy sucking his thumb in the corner to take it like a man

Hey Sox Fan, I like your list!
When I bought my Dodgers hat yesterday, I was balking at paying $32 just to piss off sheep (bought it anyway), and the kid in the store said, and I quote, “The Scubs (my S, not his) are going to win the World Series anyway.” Some other guy said the Scubs would do what they usually do, and the sheep said “Lou won’t let that happen. Not with THIS team. They’re going to win it all.” I just told him I would come see him after it’s all over.
This is exactly why everyone in Baseball Nation hates the Scubs and their sheep fans. Instead of saying they HOPE the Losers can win it all, they say they WILL win it all. Arrogant assholes, all of them.

It’s fun to see Cub Nation deflated today. I haven’t heard much. Guest? Oki? Where are you guys?
October 2nd, 2008 at 8:53 am
Guess what guys. The Cubs are bad on the road…whereas the Dodgers have the 2nd best home record. Hmm…wonder what’s gonna happen in the 3rd and 4th games…

I am so tired of the idiotic sheep. They are the most ignorant fans in the entire major league. Just a bunch of drunken idiots who follow a team because the Tribune Companies told them to.
They really hate it when I wear my Cubs Still Suck shirt.

cub fans showing their class.. and bringing the lulz.
October 2, 2008 Chicago Sun-Times
A Lincoln Park man was arrested for attempting to strike Los Angeles Dodgers’ left fielder Manny Ramirez with a baseball during the Cubs Wednesday night playoff loss at Wrigley Field.
Paul Solans, 31, of the 2200 block of North Lincoln Avenue, was charged with reckless conduct and is scheduled to appear in misdemeanor court (Br.29) at the 2400 block of West Belmont Avenue on Oct. 23, police said.
Solans caught Dodgers home run and, instead of immediately throwing it back onto the field, attempted to throw it at Ramirez when the Dodgers returned to the field. Security guards “grabbed him” and turned him over to Chicago Police, police said.
The Cubs lost the game 7-2 and will host the Dodgers in Game 2 of the National League Division Series Thursday night at 8:37 p.m.
At 2 a.m., Solans remained in the Belmont District police lockup, but is expected to post bond soon.

Last year, I was at work, and I was showing off my Cubs Still Suck (thank you CubsSuckClub, I won it in a contest here) shirt a few days after they got their asses handed to them by Arizona. My manager said “Thats wrong, what did the Sox do this year?” I replied “What did the chubs do?” he shut his mouth after that
its sad that chubs fans will brag about getting swept in the NLDS by a bad team
October 2nd, 2008 at 11:12 pm
10-3 chubs CHOKE!
whoda thunk it?
0-3 on Saturday, and ill be wearing my lucky Dodgers jersery!
hopefully Sox can pull 1-1 tomorrow and the Brew-Crew can win at least 1 game against the Phillies…
October 2nd, 2008 at 11:15 pm
where’s all the cub fans on here that said this was the year???
October 3rd, 2008 at 5:53 am
It isn’t over yet, but as the Brewers fan said the Scubbies aren’t a very good road team. They have to win both games in La La Land, and that will be real tough. I’m not ready to say they’re dead yet (musn’t rile the baseball gods), but gee this is so sweet so far. Dumpster AND Crazy Carlos imploding, Brenda Lee uncharacteristically bobbling an easy ball, Errormiss’ well…error, Edmonds trying to make one of his spectacular catches and missing, little to no offense, Lou shaking his ugly head, the sheep all looking like their grandmas just died, the boos, Bob and Len whining. This is the “best team in baseball”, folks.
Gotta love it.
GO DODGERS!!
GO BREWERS!!
GO SOX!!
October 3rd, 2008 at 4:49 pm
the fans booing their own team really made me laugh
Go Dodgers!
