I will concede that they’re smarter, but I have never met any Phillies fans that weren’t complete dicks. I’ve met plenty of decent Cub fans, which is saying a lot.

I’ll agree that some Phillies fans are assholes but yes, they are smarter than sheep.(most of them)
But one time I was at Minute maid when my Stros played the Phillies on a Sunday. I’m sitting in my seat and its about 30 minutes before game time and this guy wearing a Phils cap was complaining to some of my fellow stros fans about our win from the night before when Kaz Matsui hit a 2 run walkoff single off of Brad Lidge. He was saying that our fence in right was to short and the reason we won is because we kept hitting “pop-up home runs.” I wish I would of said something but I didn’t want to start an arguement. I was thinking “Dude, your park is a hitters park as well as ours and can’t you just take a loss?” I swear some “fans” just weren’t meant to watch baseball.

But he is gone again and who knows if he’s coming back? When he came back on here, people just started leaving. There’s only 3 people on here now including me. Even if he does come back, don’t leave. I know this is a few days late, but here are some final thoughts and words.
And so, thus endeth another baseball season. Many of us, particularly Sox and Cards fans are disappointed with the season’s turnout. However, we can still count and laugh at yet another year of the cubs’ continued ineptitude! Furthermore, the new ownership is very unlikely to change their losing ways. New ownership, same bullshit, same cubs. I may post on here occasionally as we see what kind of bonehead deals they make in the offseason. Otherwise, 3 short months until spring training, and it all starts anew. So until next time:

very true. in my opinion, they could have any GM in there and still fail. he could make a blockbuster trade for Tim Lincecum and he’d have an ERA of 5. The baseball gods hate the Cubs, justifiably. Oh, they also hate the bears.
