Aramis won’t talk much about cockfighting

We won’t even say much about this as it’s too easy of a target. But did you all know that Aramis is into cockfighting? He won’t comment too much on the issue:
“I’m not going to talk about that. That’s personal, that’s a different culture down there. I’m from [the] Dominican, so let’s talk about baseball,” he said.
Yeah it must be Aramis. You better focus a little more on baseball and a little less on that cockfighting.

Cockfighting is legal in the DR, just ask Pedro Martinez.
And I know it’s a horrible thing, but it isn’t at all comparable to things like dogfighting. We’re just going to fry them in an oven anyway.

Well how about this for a promotion White Soxs fans
During the SCRUBS-Soxs series at US Cellular everyone who Bring Cock to the Ball park and present to COCK JOCK 3rd Baseman of the cubs to make if feel like he is home again,
OH KFC does count or Chicken if it is cooked, tell him they was all losers like the cubs are that why they was cooked. You can bring a EGG and tell HIM this egg has a better change of becoming a winner in cockfighting.
Than the cubs winning a world series!!!!

Uh, you do know this is pretty much a non-story, right? It isn’t prominent enough for anyone to make a sign over it.
And I see you haven’t learned how to spell or use punctuation since you last posted. Congrats.

But I thought Cub fans ENJOYED their time in the media spotlight…
Like the song goes, “You take the good, you take the bad, you take ‘em both and there you have…”

Animal cruelty is animal cruelty, it doesn’t matter that it is in legal in the Dominican Republic.
He knows it’s wrong, that’s why he won’t talk about it. And, yes, you can compare it to dog fighting.

Are you against Japanese beetle fighting? What about Beta Fish?
The lines have to be drawn somewhere.

Okay, Guest….where should the line be drawn? If someone from the Cubs is doing it, it’s okay?
I bet if it were anyone else, you wouldn’t be defending this behavior. You disgust me for trying to downplay animal cruelty.

Did you miss out on the whole Pedro fiasco? Someone posted a video of him at a cockfight on youtube a couple weeks before Aramis was brought up.
It’s a horrible thing, no animals should be forced to fight. But getting all riled up over chickens…is, well, a waste of your time to be honest.
