Kerry Wood Falls in Hot Tub

Does it get any worse if you are Kerry Wood? You spend like 5 straight years on and off the DL. 2007 you finally feel healthy. Then, you freakin slip getting out of a hot tub at home and injure your stomach and chest. Wow! Kerry Wood is the defination of ‘injury prone’ or ‘soft’.

“It was just a little spill,” Wood said Thursday. “I didn’t think anything of it. Nothing’s wrong. It’s just going to be a few extra days. My arm feels great. My body feels good.”

Yeah right. We’ve heard this before. It took all but one day of spring training for something to keep him out. It’s going to be a long year in Chicago.
