They call him an expert?

Take a look at this nice little Cubbie love article from ESPN.  Jayson Stark just doesn’t get it does he.  He obviously doesn’t realize that a huge choke-job is right around the corner.

Maybe even today, in fact, because the Cubs — yes, friends, the Cubs — are taking on that look. That this-is-the-year kind of look.

You can read the entire article here but don’t get too excited yet Cub fans.

That story was hilarious!! It should have been on The Onion!!
One thing I still find completely pathetic is the fact that Cubs fans still talk about Bartman. It wasn’t his fault they blew it…..it was the Cubs players fault.

Yes, arguably the smartest baseball writer outside of Tim Kurkjian is an idiot now, simply because of your never-ending near sadistic hatred.

Do you honestly believe that this is the year? Seriously? They are how many games over .500?

I don’t think that they will get out of the first round of the playoffs, honestly. But the 2006, 83 win Cardinals proved that any team, no matter how bad, can win the World Series. It’s a whole new season come October, it seems.

And BTW, this 2007 Cubs team is far better than that 2006 Cardinals.

Guest, you are crazy. How can you make a statement like that? Let’s wait until the end of the season before you come to these ridicules conclusions.

The 2007 Cardinals were an at best mediocre team going into the playoffs. As I stated, the playoffs are a totally different season than the first 162. Do you honestly think the Cardinals were the best team in 2006?

Truth is, very, VERY rarely in sports does the best team win the championship.

Keep telling yourself that, Cubs fan.

Besides, if that were true, the Cubs would have won the World Series way more often.

“Keep telling yourself that, Cubs fan.”

    Uh, that’s a fact.
