The Cubs have rookie “Randy Wells” on the mound today so it’s time for a pounding. Wait, do Brewers fans hate the Cubs? If so – let us know! I hope to report back tomorrow with a big L flag.
As Cub Haters it’s time to rally the troops. Ok, so it’s official. We have heard it hundreds of times over the last week from every single Cub fan we know. The Cubs are making the playoffs. Their Magic Number is 2 or 3 or whatever… We keep hearing it – over and over and over and over. So I say, whoopie doo… Show us what you are made of in the playoffs. Cubs Suck Club is ready to step it up a notch here over the last month and into the playoffs. Who is with me??? I want you Cub haters to send EVERY SINGLE Cub hater image, joke, video, song, link, article, quote you can possibly find to webmaster@cubssuckclub.com! Come on Cubs? You had a billion game lead on the division/wild card with a month to go. Surely a LOCK for the playoffs right? We aren’t so sure anymore. This team is all but unraveling like the Chubs we know. It will take a chokejob like no other for this team to not make the playoffs, but regardless, they are playing like dog crap at the wrong time. You never want to be ‘cold’ going into the playoffs.
If that’s not bad enough… The Cardinals are beating them and soon the Brewers will beat up on them. Big Z is hurt, errrrr, crying… Harden’s arm is starting to be in question. The offense is not showing up. Cubs Suck!
It wasn’t very long ago that I was talking about how this year has been different for Cub fans. Nobody seemed to be talking trash. Cub fans weren’t hooting and hollering after every win saying they were the best team ever. Well, SCRATCH THAT.
All of a sudden, the true Scrub faithful have come out of the woodwork and are giving us what we expect. Everywhere I look I see, “Cubs are the greatest…” blah blah. Every single Facebook status from a Cub fan says something cocky and arrogant. Check these out as we speak just from a number of my buddies:
That’s just a handful. But come on. Every Cub fan I run into right now is hollering in my face like, “YEAH YEAH SWEEEEP, Brewers Suck… Cardinals Suck… Cubs Rule.”
On one hand it’s annoying, yeah. But on the other hand it’s what we all expect from the Cub fans. This is more like normal. Now I’m not real worried because we KNOW something bad is about to happen. A collapse? A choke? All of the above! Keep on talking Cubby fans and we’ll hear you cryin again in October.
